PURPOSE

 

Summer Undergraduate Research Exchange (SURE) Program provides exciting summer research opportunities for undergraduate students committed to pursuing a career in STEM (Science , Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). Students spend 8 -10 weeks engaged in cutting edge research at a major academic research institution, federal lab, private company, or an industry.

 

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

  • Interests and preferences matched with a research mentor.
  • Network and interact with research scientist.
  • Training in scientific writing and speaking.
  • Receive career and graduate school guidance.
  • Meet and work with peers from other college/universities.
  • Social, recreational, and professional development activities.
  • Research symposium.

BENEFITS
